Advantages and disadvantages of SPP and WPP technologies

Harnessing the energy of the sun and increasing the amount of energy to meet the energy needs of the world.

Already more than 100 countries are using relevant program targets to expand the use of renewable energy sources and have introduced related energy programs that oblige the grids to buy electricity from renewable energy sources.

The use of solar energy is also advisable for the generation of electrical energy and is possible throughout Ukraine.

For the efficient use of solar and wind technologies, it is necessary to attract specialists from the energy industry.

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Electricity”, in contrast to industrial SPPs with a capacity of more than 30 kW, the following additional incentives are provided for the owners of private SPPs and / or WPPs:

  • production of energy from wind energy and solar radiation of a private household is carried out without a license;
  • the size of the “green” tariff is tied to the euro exchange rate (with an increase in the tariff rate, it also increases).

MAIN ADVANTAGES OF SPP TECHNOLOGY:

noiselessness of work;
the life of solar cells is unlimited and can be tens of years;
the conversion of solar energy occurs mainly through the use of photovoltaic cells;
additional or autonomous source of a private house;
the possibility of obtaining a “green” tariff.

DISADVANTAGES OF SPP TECHNOLOGY:
on the climatic characteristics of the area;
the need for a large area of ​​placement.

ADVANTAGES OF WPP TECHNOLOGY:

wind energy is inexhaustible;
possibility of placement in hard-to-reach places;
small area required and fit into any landscape; receiving free electricity in the long term, no costs for fuel and its delivery;
autonomy – independence from the state and operation of external electrical networks.

DISADVANTAGES OF WPP:
noise;
high price;
long payback period;
inconstancy and unregulated wind flow.
